Tivadar Kunkli knocked out the Beast

Budapest 3 May, 2011 – 5000 fans gathered for a legendary fight in the Budapest Sportaréna on 1 May, 2011. Tivadar Kunkli, the 47 years old Thai-boxer of HELL Energy, put on the gloves only for this fight and accepted the challenge of the American Bob Sapp, who has a hundred kg over the Hungarian boxer. The Hungarian Thai-box icon –with 390 victories and a single loss under his belt- returned to the ring for the third time to prove: it is not age or size that really matters. The battle of the giants ended with the victory of the Hungarian strongman. In less than three minutes he brought his giant rival to the ground. David has defeated Goliath! After knocking out Bob Sapp, Tivadar now puts down the gloves for good and he talked to us about his future plans after his stellar sport carrier.
- Tivadar, you seemed very calm and relaxed when you retreated to the locker room half an hour before the fight: did faith in victory give you piece of mind?
Tivadar Kunkli: Yes. I did everything I could to succeed, so I was completely calm when I entered the ring. I knew what was going to happen, and it did!
- How did it feel to step into Arena`s ring surrounded by 5000 loudly cheering fans?
Tivadar Kunkli: It cannot be compared to anything! Since I was a kid, I`ve been dreaming about entering the ring while such a large crowd of fans cheers me. Words alone cannot describe the feeling…
- You have just met Sapp behind the scene before marching in for a couple of seconds. Was he the kind of person you expected? How did he act?
Tivadar Kunkli: When we were standing side by side before the match, he acted as a real athlete and we mutually paid respect to each other. But I have to say that he was huge! As far as his physical appearance, I was really surprised by the size of his upper body. My training partners were of similar size, but with a lot smaller upper body. In live, this was rather shocking.
- Were you able to stick to your strategy throughout the whole fight? Was there any moment when you felt that this could go wrong?
Tivadar Kunkli: No, there was not any. Everything went just like I planned. When the fight began, I immediately went up close, where he cannot be that efficient, because of his size.
- Sapp went down several times during the fight, and there was a moment when the referee gave him the count. When did you feel that you got the match?
Tivadar Kunkli: When I left home in the morning of the match. But jokes aside: when I first stepped into the ring and we interlocked, I already knew that everything was going to be fine! He had a couple of well directed punches that got me. I have to admit that he is really strong, if for nothing else because of his weight. I did not think that his punch is so strong …. But in the end I was lucky to finish without injuries.
- You promised that after this match you would retire, could there be a challenge that would make you put on the gloves again?
Tivadar Kunkli: I think that I had put the crown on my boxing carrier with a fight of this level. Since I feel that I cannot overdo this, I can confirm that I retire. I already promised this to my children and myself. I want to couch my talented sons in sport and life. I want to share all my knowledge with them, so one day they can also be great fighters.
- And what are your plans on the short and the long term?
Tivadar Kunkli: I do not quit boxing, I keep training, because this is my lifestyle. I have also been involved in competitive quad racing for seven years, and I plan to do it as long as I can push the gas pedal.

The Romanian, Czech, Slovak, and Israeli shipments are already produced in the Szikszó factory, fitted with German high technology, while the proportion of products bottled in foreign plants is constantly decreasing. According to the plans, as the domestic production is extended, shipments to the Spanish, Greek, and other European Union markets will also soon be dispatched from Borsod County. In the case of Greece, for example, the producer has already made preparations for the summer season: besides for several rounds of the King of Europe Drift European Championship, Hell Energy, a committed supporter of technical sports, will also sponsor the station of the tournament near Thessaloniki. In May, the Hungarian producer of energy drinks will delight motorsport loving Hellenes with the Chevrolet Camaro of infernal power and its drifter, Tamás Varga.

Hell Energy Hungary Ltd.’s EUR 16 million investment in Szikszó

There are no translations available.

Hell Energy Hungary Ltd. has won several EU tenders and started an investment process worth EUR 16 million, which will result in a world-class, modern bottling plant to be opened by spring 2011 in Szikszó, located in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. The new plant will host a factory with state-of-the-art bottling machines as well as modern storage facilities.
Taking advantage of the framework of the investment process in Szikszó, worth over 4.5 billion, the Miskolc based enterprise plans to carry out most of their production in Hungary, using mainly Hungarian resources. So far the 100-percent Hungarian owned, market leader Hell energy drink was bottled abroad, using rental bottling facilities, since Hungary did not possess such plant or technology that could resolve all bottling needs necessary for retail sales.
The construction work of Hell’s modern bottling plant is carried out as a green-field investment on 11 hectares of land, next to state road No.3, from the direction of  Miskolc, just about 1.5 km before reaching Szikszó. Construction works started in November 2009. According to the plans, first a 7200 square meter plant hall was built, while the company is planning to realize a 5000 square meter logistics center in the future.
The funds gained from tenders – 1.1 billion HUF from GOP and ÉMOP – were used mainly for technical developments, since those are needed mostly to ensure economical production and affordable retail prices. The metal-can bottling facility ordered from Germany was assembled in the brand new plant hall and testing it will begin shortly, and according to the plans, metal-can filling can start in March 2011. Thanks to the modern technology, the new factory will be able to ensure the largest bottling volume available in Hungary, operating 24 hours a day. The metal-can bottling line can fill 48000 cans per hour, while later the PET line will be able to produce 18000 bottles hourly.
As soon as the continuous production reaches the pre-planned levels, the plant will employ over 50 workers in different shifts. Besides ensuring work in the plant itself, the investment will also provide job opportunities for several businesses in the area as well as increase local tax income due to the growing profit and sales volume. Besides its positive effect on the national economy, the investment will also contribute to the development of underprivileged areas.

As a serious participant in the field of technical sports for several years, Hell Energy, Hungarian based energy drink manufacturer, plans to build a 6200 ccm racer-miracle with over 640 HP - surely not the average idea of a racing car. The Chevrolet Camaro SS, which was taken into pieces and then rebuilt again from scratch, rolled out of the garage representing extreme power and true magnificence: after getting a shiney new Hell design on the outside, the service team just finished working on the car’s performance improvement in the past few days. Lead mechanic of the service team expressed his acknowledgement: he feels the test results speak for themselves.

Hell of a Twins

Take two young and willing groups and there is a great chance something good turns out. It was no different when HELL Energy Drink started a cooperation with the FUSION 5 team. The purpose was to create two incredibly cool cars, and to use them in HELL energy drink promotion campaigns.  Anybody who has seen the machines agreed that the cooperation reached its purpose. Two exceptional cars were built at the Fusion workshop, that have absolutely nothing similar to them in the entire country, and can hardly be found in Europe.
